| this is why i hate expeditions. they're totally random. just remember this sage advice when going on expedition:
MISFORTUNE - While fortune often eludes you, this one never misses.
when it first came out, i lost half my fleet to "aliens" that had lv 20-23 combat tech, i wasnt happy. is finding 3 free h. fighters worth risking fleets? well let's just say i never do expedtions. i just raid the hell out of all my neighbors. my first 5 battleships will be flying today, w00t | |

| i also started to just send out light cargo's - pirates killed my second expidition (finaly beat them with 2 cruisers) but got nothing for it.  | |

| Does it matter how many ships you take on a expedition,if you meet pirates they will win anyway?
I just had my exp wiped out by pirates using 5 light fighters,i had 1 light fighter and 1 small cargo. | |

| go to galaxy view, look next to coordinate input and display, see expedition button. click it and it will prompt you to the fleet screen, pick cargoes and fighters liek youre attacking, cuz you'll never know what youll find, (its slot 16) and youre off. sometime you find resources, sometimes you find lost ships, you could find a battleship out there and itd be yours. weird stuff, expeditions.  | |
